The temperature sensor measures the temperature per room. It sends this to the system that activates the heating or cooling. The sensors are available separately or can be built into the modules of different manufacturers.
On the back of the Duotecno touchbuttons, there is a recess for a temperature sensor so that it can be integrated aesthetically.
